ANY CAMERA is a virtual camera as a browser extension. While it’s on, a site sees one camera called “ANY CAMERA” and gets your file; the microphone stays real. With no file, the site gets a test card — handy for checking how a service handles the camera. One codebase for Firefox on desktop and Android, plus a Chrome version for Mac.

All in one pop-up
A “Replace camera” switch, file picker, 480p / 720p / 1080p, 15 / 24 / 30 fps and mirroring. The pop-up shows whether the current site is getting the replacement.

A test card
With no file the site gets colour bars and a clock — you see at once that the stream is replaced and running.
How it works

Install the extension in Firefox or Chrome.

Click the ANY CAMERA icon → “Choose video or photo”.

Turn the replacement on and enable the camera on the site.
FAQ
Is audio replaced too?
No. Video plays muted, and if a site asks for a microphone, the real one is used.
Which browsers?
Firefox 128+ on desktop and Android, Chrome 111+ and other Chromium browsers on Mac.
Which files work?
H.264 MP4 or WebM video and regular photos. HEVC and HEIC are best converted first.
