BLA-БЛА turns audio and video into timestamped text. Files are prepared right in the browser, long recordings are split to each service’s limits and stitched back. Tuned for mixed Russian–English speech and Kazakh. No server; keys stay in your browser.

Who it’s forJournalists, researchers, podcasters — anyone who needs text from a recording.

mp3, m4a, wav, ogg, flac, mp4, mov, webm, mkv… Only the audio is used, squeezed into 16 kHz mono MP3 — about 0.35 MB per minute.

Is it free?

The site is. Most services have a free tier or sign-up credits; Groq is the quickest start.

Where does my audio go?

Only to the service you choose. BLA-БЛА has no server of its own.

Does it work offline?

There is a single-file bla-bla.html that opens from disk, but the speech services still need the internet.
