Three modes, three keys

⌥ converts, ⌘ compresses (light / medium / strong, “no more than 25 MB”), ⌃ opens tools: remove background, recognise text, merge PDFs. Another key switches mode on the fly.

Quick jobs show progress and the outcome in the centre of the ring: “4.2 MB → 1.1 MB · −74%”. Long ones move to a small indicator in the corner.

How it works

Download the zip, move Morfus.app to Applications and open it with right-click → Open.
02
Go through onboarding: file types and mode keys. For video and PDF, Morfus installs ffmpeg, Ghostscript and qpdf itself.

Drag any file, press ⌥, ⌘ or ⌃ and drop on a sector. The result lands next to the original.
