Drop and done

Files and whole folders, or paste with ⌘V. Pick the format on top: WebP, JPEG, PNG or “As is”. Each file shows how much it shrank.

Smart crop

1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, 4:5, 9:16, 21:9 or custom. Pachaq finds the interesting part — detail, saturation, skin tones — or you move the frame yourself.

How it works

    Download the installer for Mac or Windows from the releases page.

    Choose the format and crop in the top bar.

    Drop images or a folder — compressed files appear next to them.

FAQ

Which formats can it read?

JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC/HEIF and TIFF. On Windows, HEIC needs the “HEIF Image Extensions” add-on.

Does it update itself?

Yes, Pachaq offers an update on launch when a new version is out.

Where are the settings?

⌘, in the app. They live in settings.json in the app folder.
